Planning your presentation
Forward planning is essential. A successful presentation takes time to prepare, check and rehearse, so please get in touch well ahead of your event.
You’ll need to provide a script in advance, along with any photographs, graphics or other material you’d like included. The script provides the running order and helps establish where each slide should appear, allowing time to agree the timing and make any adjustments before the day.
Optional presenter and VDU operator
An experienced presenter and VDU operator are available as an optional service to support the delivery of your presentation.
The presenter can guide your audience through the content with a confident, professional delivery, incorporating characters or humour into the messaging where appropriate. This can add personality, bring a story to life and make your presentation more memorable, while keeping the focus on your message.
The VDU operator manages the slideshow and follows the agreed cues, keeping the visuals and spoken presentation working together throughout your event. The venue or event organiser must provide a projector and screen, set up and ready for the presenter to use on arrival. Equipment arrangements should be confirmed in advance so we can check compatibility and ensure everything runs smoothly. Travelling costs and any overnight costs will be payable on top of the presenter's fee.
